SUMMARY
With the increasing reliance on software applications for the conduct of business, the need to integrate these applications with minimal effort and in short timeframes is becoming ever more evident. Concomitantly, model-driven and service-oriented architectures are emerging as effective paradigms for developing and interconnecting applications.
This project aims at exploring the possibilities opened by the combined use of these two paradigms in order to achieve flexible application integration. Specifically, the project will devise new techniques for building integrated systems of applications in such a way that changes in business requirements can be rapidly and reliably propagated into changes in the system.
